Tony award-winning Avenue Q comes to The Place in Bedford

Equal parts heartfelt and irreverent, Avenue Q follows Princeton — a wide-eyed recent college graduate who moves into a run-down apartment on the unfashionable Avenue Q. He quickly discovers that his new neighbourhood is far from ordinary. Alongside a colourful cast of humans, monsters, and a cast of brilliantly crafted puppets, Princeton and his neighbours navigate the real-world challenges of finding jobs, love, and — most elusive of all — their purpose in life.

Packed with gut-busting humour, a delightfully catchy score, and a surprising amount of warmth, Avenue Q has been delighting audiences around the world since its Broadway debut. Taking its cue from a beloved children's television format, the show tackles grown-up themes with wit, puppetry, and the reassuring message that everything in life is only for now.
