Avoid Shakespeare Road in Bedford as workers tackle burst water main

Motorists are being urged to avoid Shakespeare Road in Bedford, following a burst water main just before at 1pm today (Monday).

A two-way temporary traffic light system is in place.

Anglian Water is currently repairing the water main - and drivers are being asked to avoid the area where possible.
